Brattleboro, Vermont — Interaction, formerly Youth Services, is proud to bring together golf enthusiasts for its 40th Anniversary Golf Tournament on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the Brattleboro Country Club. This long-established event raises vital funds for local youth programs, restorative justice, and behavioral health services serving Windham County.
“Celebrating 40 years of our Annual Golf Fundraiser marks a remarkable legacy of community support and dedication to youth development” says Susan Buhlmann, Interaction’s Board Member and Golf Committee Co-chair. “This enduring tradition has raised vital funds, empowering generations with opportunities, mentorship, and brighter futures”.

A few spots are still available for players eager to join this milestone event. Online registration is openith on-site check-in beginning at 11 a.m., and complimentary lunch and dinner provided. The Scramble-format tournament will begin with a shotgun start at noon. Prizes will be awarded for low gross and low net scores, as well as Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Closest to the Line for both men and women. Mulligans will also be available for purchase. This year’s tournament promises extra fun with a surprise prize for the “Most Stylish or Celebratory Team” and multiple raffle baskets—including local food, barbecue, gardening, Italian, and Nantucket themes, among others. The day will end with the thrilling Helicopter Golf Ball Drop, offering a chance to win $3,000, followed by a celebratory banquet at Bella Notte Italian Restaurant, with both indoor and outdoor seating available.
This year, the tournament’s silent auction goes online interactionvt.org/auction featuring exclusive travel opportunities to destinations like Spain, Martha’s Vineyard, Hawaii, and Colorado, giving bidders a chance to win incredible trips while supporting local youth and restorative justice programs. Spectators are welcome to join the Helicopter Drop around 5:30 p.m.
The registration fee for the tournament is $160 per individual or $640 per foursome, covering greens fees, cart rental, bag lunch, and banquet. To register, visit interactionvt.org/golf or call (802) 257-0361, Option 6 for “Events”. For community members not participating in the tournament a “Dinner Only” option is available at $40 per person. Please reserve by Monday using the same phone number.
All proceeds from the tournament, which typically raise close to $20,000 annually, will support Interaction’s programs.
